Summary

The bachelor thesis deals with creation and visualization of 3D models of historical and contemporary objects, located in the place of the current shopping centre Galerie Šantovka in Olomouc since the 18th century. The introduction is devoted to description of the historical development of the area of interest and a literature search focused on the possibilities of 3D modeling. The practical part of this work aims at 3D reconstruction of the southern part of the Theresian bastion fortress called "Přední pevnůstka", next former industrial concern MILO Olomouc and the creation of 3D model of the Galerie Šantovka shopping centre. An important part was the usage of photogrammetric terrain documentation of the archaeological research for the creation of 3D relicts of the fortress walls. The combination of photogrammetry and 3D modelling methods was used to create 3D outputs. The processing was done in PhotoScan and SketchUp software. The text closely describes the workflow from the initial data collection in the form of historical plans, aerial photographs and pictorial materials over their editing and processing into final outputs, up to their visualization. Results in the form of a series of 3D models are presented in a compiled web application which was implemented by using Cesium JavaScript library. The application is accessible through a web browser thanks to HTML5 and WebGL technology.
