The main object of bachelor thesis was designed and built the database of urban plans for the Olomouc region. After consultation with Mgr. Libuší Dobrou, who work at regional authority and division of regional planning and building regulations in Olomouc was the database created in electronic form and in Microsoft Office Access 2003 database system. This program is a basic feature in office packet Office from Microsoft Corporation. This fact did from Access a powerful tool between databases systems like Oracle Database, IBM DB2 or Microsoft SQL, because the Microsoft Office used almost anybody. Therefore, while was needed, this database will be used at any regional authority in Czech Republic. This database will be used for evidence urban plans in Olomouc region, which had 13 cities with extended power, 399 cities and 765 cadastral territories. For any cities exists average two plans. For employees division of regional planning and building is important had recorded actual information for all plans in region Olomouc.
The second object was a survey how was employees of regional authority in Czech Republic satisfied with work of web portal iLAS (Local Actualisation System) and whether the regional authorities had own databases for registration urban plans. This portal iLAS is nationwide database of urban plans. This database was managed Institute for Spatial Development (Ústav územního rozvoje). This institute was issued a recommendatory methodise to procedure for urban plans in the registration of planning activities. This survey was performed by questionnaire, which I made in Google Docs. This system was selected, because offered a very intuitive control and many options for settings. The questionnaire was sent by email to all 14 regional authorities in Czech Republic. This survey showed, that employees are almost satisfied with work of portal iLAS, but all (except one) had own database of urban plans.
