4D modelling of geomorphologic processes in surroundings of landslide Brodská

The objects of the bachelor work called 4D Modelation of the Geomorphologic Processes in Surroundings of the Landslide Brodská was creating 3D model, describing the active geomorphologic processes and simulate animation of evalution the surface in the area of interest from past ot present. Area of interest is the Malá Brodská valley in Vsetínské vrchy Mts., near the Nový Hrozenkov village (Vsetín district). The processes like landsliding are very important in this locality. In July 1997 the extreme rainfalls ocured and resulted in extensive floods over the eastern half of the Czech Republic. These rainfalls triggered many landslides recorded particularly in the flysch rocks of northern and eastern Moravia.

In practise part of this work, two 3D models were created. First from mapped data (by means of DGPS and total station technology) and second from existed data – contours (ZABAGED). For modeling the GRASS aplication with NVIZ was used. On result surfaces the geomorphologic processes were described and vusialized.

The 4D modelation was made like animation of past surfaces, that were created by editing the present contours. The modelation was created by the existed hyphoteze of evolution from past to present. Important parts of evolution of this surfaces were river piracy (wind gap, abandoned valley, elbow of capture) and wide Recent landslide, that influenced the recent surface.
