Frequency of using map methods on map portals

This Bachelor thesis completely assesses problems of map´s portals from the technology´s side and functional ´s and above all from the carthographic´s side. Thanks the large database it could be like a source of alternatives and attractions to the most uses map´s portals. The main part of this work is the evaulation of the frequence of using map´s methodes on the map´s portals.

This work contains 4 main parts. The first, and very important part, is a large databasse of map ´s portals in Czech and abroad. It encompass about 250 the most famous, the largest and the most exploited Czech´s and foreign´s commercials portals, portals of public services - noncommercial, rarity and an interesting or untraditionally solves portals.

In the main part is myself estimation of frequence map´s methods, but there were valued pertinence of using concret´s map´s methods too in the map´s portal´s problems on the Internet. Unfortunatelly in this work it isn´t possible to take over completely fission from any authors, there were necessity to make larger and adjust classification evoluative´s criteries in the light of specificum internet´s maps and to analyse different accesses for evaluation of classical paper´s and internet´s maps.

For every portal in database there were effected analyse and wrote down for every method, if it occurs in these portals or not and was effected the next analyse and evaluation gained´s outcomes. In this work I can ´t leave out to valorize portals on the side using technologies and functions. In the last part there were and idea of ideal map´s portal with choosing of the best usable methods and functions.
