Cílem bakalářské práce je popis základních principů současné počítačové grafiky a vizualizace, popis nástrojů Google Earth a Google SketchUp. Součástí práce je vytvoření dvou 3D modelů budovy přírodovědecké fakulty univerzity Palackého v Olomouci, lišících se podrobností modelování, jejich porovnání a následná vizualizace pomocí Google Earth. V práci jsou také popsány způsoby exportu z prostředí Google SketchUp a začlenění modelů do prostředí ArcGIS. Součástí práce je i srovnání programu Google SketchUp s dalšími dostupnými 3D aplikacemi.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is a description of basic principles of present computer graphics and visualization and a description of Google Earth and Google SketchUp tools. A creation of two 3D building models of Faculty of Science Palacky University in Olomouc, differ in their level of detail, are also included in the thesis as well as a comparison of these two models and their visualization by using Google Earth. There are also described ways of export from Google SketchUp and its integration to ArcGIS. A part of the thesis is also a comparison of Google SketchUp with other available 3D applications.
