The aim of the thesis is description of the measurement procedure in morphologically difficult terrain. The thesis targets include the creation of exact topographic plans for bank lines and traverse shapes. Area for field work is Kenický Nature Reserve. Solution of this thesis is mainly focused on field data collecting, processing of the measurement procedure and the evaluation of the exactness and suitability of applied instruments. Measurements were carried out in two seasons and dealt with three phenomena. Specifically, there were Kenicka smuha (the river is branching to lateral permanent and periodic river branches, which are called „smuhy“ in this region), bank lines and traverse shapes of Morava river basin. Bank lines and diagonal shapes were measured in area Kenicky meander. At measurement were used methods of geodetic measurements (electronic tacheometry, leveling) and RTK method. The first measurements were carried out in autumn 2011 and the second in April and May 2012. To focus Kenická smuha and bank lines was used a total station Pentax V227N. To test GNSS devices were used HiPer II and GPSmap 60CSx. With GNSS equipments was measured left bank line of Morava river basin.
