A set of active and passive elements and technologies for on-line monitoring of qualitative and quantitative parameters of groundwater and precipitation and monitoring of water balance (infiltration of precipitation on unpaved areas, management of precipitation water from paved areas, induction of natural resources, etc.) in a given (industrial) area. With a suitable arrangement, unexpected conditions, potential pollution can be identified early and the use of (limited) groundwater resources can be managed more effectively.
