Tereza Pohanková has successfully defended her dissertation “Modelling Spatiotemporal Variability of Evapotranspiration and Cooling Function of Vegetation using Remote Sensing Methods” and passed the final state examination.

She has thus been awarded the academic degree Ph.D. 

Congratulations on this remarkable achievement, and best wishes for her future academic and personal journey!

A review article has been published in the Q1 journal International Journal of Digital Earth, focusing on the use of eye-tracking in interactions with digital maps.

• The first systematic analysis has been conducted on how gaze can be used to control and adapt digital maps.
• A typology of gaze-based map interactions has been introduced.
• 25 studies using eye-tracking for map interaction have been included.
• Results are presented through an open-source interactive dashboard.
