Title of diploma thesis: Analysis of a river bank failures using geodetic methods
The diploma thesis is focused on the analyses of selected river banks which are located in the Litovelské Pomoraví protected landscape area. These analyses are based on data measured in 2014–2015 by using terrestrial photogrammetry, electronic tacheometry and GNSS measurements.
The images and coordinates are processed by using programs Agisoft PhotoScan Professional, ArcMap 10.1 and Groma v.10. The Images of each river banks are processed by using method Structure from Motion into 3D models. Another part of the diploma thesis is focused on the accuracy of the 3D model and what is the suitability of this method for mapping river bank. Model is created by using a method Structure from Motion.
The results reveal, for selected river banks, what is the mass loss due to water erosion, and what is the accuracy of the test 3D model.
