The project aims to adapt people with visual impairment to modern technologies and to make these technologies accessible through newly designed education aids and didactic procedures. The project focuses the development of 3D tactile maps created by modern 3D printing tools, the development of a software tool to link maps with smartphones and tablets and the subsequent training of a 3D tactile and auditory map. A didactic set of maps and associated software will be created. Training materials will be designed with a set of tasks to teach target group of users how to use newly developed tools. The results of the project aim to improve the orientation of people with the severe visual impairment in the space because it is a significant aspect of their integration into society.
