Geoinformatics Student Wins Gold at the Czech Academic Games!

A fantastic achievement for the Department of Geoinformatics! Josef Kubeček, one of our students, claimed gold in the sprint orienteering race at this year’s Czech Academic Games in Brno. He completed the course in an impressive 16:45, securing first place.

Josef also delivered a strong performance in the middle-distance race, finishing among the top ten. His sprint victory also earned 6 points for Palacký University in the overall university standings.
